PTERON signifies the wing - the ancient symbol of flight, freedom, and the absolute liberation from the terrestrial. Honoring this aerodynamic essence, the design offers a contemporary translation of the classic aviator silhouette. It utilizes fluid teardrop contours, an exceptionally lightweight titanium construction, and gradient lenses to create a subtle interplay of light and shadow.

Gracing the monumental Daru staircase at the Louvre, the Winged Victory of Samothrace stands as a masterpiece of Hellenistic theatricality. The goddess Nike is captured in the exact fraction of a second she alights upon a ship's prow, her wet garments whipped back by the sea breeze. The heavy marble is utterly transformed, conveying the violent grace and impossible lightness of flight.
